Presntations

I presented my project ideas to the class today and received positve feedback as well as some suggestions for my final project. I also viewed other students projects and saw that most of the work being done is very good and we all have some very interesting ideas, and that some of our projects play into one another.

I did more work on my powerpoint today.

May 7th

Today I started working on my collage for my graduation project. I found pictures of famous black NBA players and white players such as Micheal Jordan and Larry Bird. The collage isn't finished yet but I am trying to make something very creative and different form anything else.

Letter Of Intent

Today I wrote a letter that basically described my graduation project and what I will be doing for my project.

May 3rd

Today was another day full of work. I spent a lot of time finding websites that could help me with my graduation project. I am very interested in doing something about sports, especially basketball. I used wikipedia, espn, and the official NBA website. I used google to search a few websites about basketball but they really didn't have a lot of useful information about basketball. Hopefull by tomorrow I will be clear on what I want to do.

More Work

Today I did a ton of work in all of my classes. I can't remember the time I worked so hard in school. My graduation project is starting to pick up a little steam because my ideas are more formed and in place.

First Assignment

I have heard so much about the graduation project while I have been here at City High, and even from other people that go to different schools. From what I have been hearing, the project takes a lot of time and effort and can be very tedious. That is why many people say that you should pick a topic that you absolutely are interested in. I might structure my project around music because I am involved with music outside of school. Sports are also another topic that I have in mind because I follow many different sports and I love to play basketball. I don't have too many concerns about what my graduation project is going to be, but i do have concerns about how much information I should include with my topic.
